analytical therapy
Analytical or psychodynamic psychotherapy is a form of talk therapy which enables you to express yourself freely and at your own pace. It comprises four essential elements: being attentive to unconscious processes that affect your behaviour, relationships and decision-making, the therapeutic relationship, the exploration of defence mechanisms, and the significance of current as well as past experiences or traumas that may still be causing you distress or confusion.
Through a collaborative process, psychotherapy supports the development of stronger internal resources and a more balanced emotional life. It allows for the recognition and working through of internal conflicts, as well as long-standing or contradictory emotional experiences that may originate in the past but continue to influence present-day choices, relationships, and decision-making. In particular, by expressing and analysing your feelings, you develop a more balanced and emotionally robust way of relating to yourself and others.
Sessions last 45 minutes and are strictly confidential. My therapeutic approach, based on non-judgement and respect of each person's singularity, is both engaged and attuned to the particular needs of each person I work with. When clinically appropriate, I may suggest breathing exercises, grounding techniques, or other forms of mediation that can help facilitate emotional regulation and understanding.
Whether in personal or professional contexts, analytical psychotherapy is suitable for anyone seeking to regain clarity, develop inner stability, and greater autonomy in taking decisions. It is a transformative process that fosters self-understanding, internal coherence, and increased psychological well-being.
Psychotherapy can support you through a wide range of situations, including anxiety, depression, periods of transition or loss, as well as more existential, identity-related, or relational questions.
