PROFESSIONAL COACHING

HELEDD WYN JONES
Registered with the FF2P (French Federation of Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis), I am an analytical therapist and work with adults and adolescents, in a practice in central Paris and by video-conference.
Since completing my PhD on the development of group identites and belonging, the question of human relationships and how we connect to others and find our place within a larger group has remained essential for me in my work. I am certified in psychotherapy (840 hours of training from Savoir Psy School, Paris, specialised in integrative therapy, psychocororal therapy and Jungain analysis) and have a D.U (diplôme universitaire) from Université Paris Cité on Kleinian psychoanalysis and clinic (babies, children and adults). My two-year clinical training in psychodrama at the Fondation Santé des étudiants de France (FSEF Clinic in Bouffémont, Val d'Oise) and my own practice has taught me the importance of a non-judgmental attitude, and providing a securely-attached base for therapy. I adhere to the FF2P's (French Federation of Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis) code of deontology and am regularly supervised in my practice.
I am also a certified professional coach and have experience working in international organisations, both in one-to-one coaching, group coaching and directing programmes on emotional intelligence, and managing conflict. My psychotherapy practice as well as my coaching approach is based on the values of respecting the dignity and individuality of the person, confidentiality and creativity.
PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC APPROACH
My approach to psychotherapy is based on psychodynamic therapy, an in-depth form of talking therapy designed to explore your inner world with care and depth. This work is based on attentive listening, which enables you to express yourself freely and at your own pace within a safe and confidential therapeutic setting. Together, we look beyond the surface of immediate concerns to explore what lies underneath: thoughts, emotional patterns, unconscious dynamics and past experiences/traumas that may still be contributing to distress or confusion.
Through this collaborative process, psychotherapy supports the development of stronger internal resources and a more balanced emotional life. By working on your emotions, the psychotherapeutic process will enable you step-by-step to learn more robust ways of emotional functioning, resolve contradictory feelings from the past and internal conflicts that may affect your behaviour, relationships and decision-making.
Whether in personal or professional contexts, psychotherapy is suitable for anyone seeking to regain clarity, develop inner stability, and greater autonomy in taking decisions. It is a transformative process that fosters self-understanding, internal coherence, and lasting psychological well-being.
Psychotherapy can support you through a wide range of situations, including anxiety, depression, periods of transition or loss, as well as more existential, identity-related, or relational questions. It provides a safe and confidential space in which you can gain a clearer understanding of your feelings, reactions, and the ways you relate to yourself and others.
